Product Introduction
30200 Series Tapered Roller Bearings is the most versatile and widely stocked "light and narrow" series among single-row Tapered Roller Bearings. Featuring a contact angle of approximately 14°, a moderate outer diameter, and a compact width, it offers excellent cost-effectiveness and serves as a preferred baseline model in mechanical design.

Single row Tapered Roller Bearings are among the most widely used rolling bearings in industry. They feature an inner ring with a tapered raceway and a large guide flange, a cup-shaped outer ring with a tapered raceway, and a single row of tapered rollers positioned between them. The lines of action of the tapered surfaces converge at a single point on the bearing axis, ensuring pure rolling motion for the rollers. As separable bearings, the inner ring assembly and outer ring can be mounted independently. They are capable of simultaneously supporting radial loads and unidirectional axial loads; typically, they are installed in opposing pairs to provide bidirectional axial location. They find extensive application in sectors such as automotive, construction machinery, mining, and gear reducers.
Series Positioning
The 30200 series features a "light and narrow" design, with a diameter series code of "02" and a contact angle of approximately 14° (classified as a standard small contact angle). It offers the most balanced dimensions among all single-row series—combining a moderate outer diameter, compact width, and relatively low weight—positioning it between the ultra-thin 32900 series and the wide, heavy-duty 32300 series.

Key Features
Primarily radial load capacity: A small contact angle (14°) directs the load distribution toward the radial direction, making it suitable for standard operating conditions with moderate axial forces.
Relatively high speed capability: Features shorter rollers and reduced sliding friction at the large end face, resulting in a higher limiting speed compared to other tapered roller bearings.
Excellent cost-performance ratio: High production volume, strong versatility, and low procurement costs make it a preferred standard choice for mechanical design.
Easy installation: Separable design allows the inner ring assembly and outer ring to be mounted independently; internal clearance can be adjusted during installation.
Dimensional Parameter Table

Application Scenarios
Automotive Industry: The 30200 series is the most widely used tapered roller bearing series in the automotive sector; it is extensively applied in front and rear wheel hubs, transmission input and output shafts, differential auxiliary shafts, and final drives (main reducers). Sizes 30205 through 30210 are the most common.
Industrial Drives: Standard configuration for various gear reducers, helical gear shafts, pump shafts, and compressor shaft ends; sizes 30206 through 30216 cover the vast majority of requirements for small-to-medium-sized reducers.
Conveying Equipment: Belt conveyor rollers, chain conveyors, and hoist sprocket shafts; suitable for moderate loads and speeds, with the 30200 series offering the best cost-performance ratio.
Agricultural Machinery: Tractor wheel hubs, combine harvesters, seeders, and rotary tillers; the 30200 series is also commonly used as the metric equivalent for inch-series replacements.
Machine Tools and General Machinery: Standard machine tool spindles, indexing mechanisms, woodworking machinery, and textile machinery; often used in paired, preloaded configurations to enhance rigidity.
Mining and Metallurgy: Auxiliary shafts for small-to-medium crushers, conveyors, and rolling mill auxiliary rolls; larger sizes (30216 and above) are commonly used.
The 30200 series shares the same structural principles and separable design as other single-row series; all require paired installation and allow for internal clearance adjustment. Differences primarily lie in dimensions and load/positioning characteristics: the 32900 and 33000 series are more compact and suited for lighter loads; the 32200 and 32300 series are wider and handle heavier loads; the 30300 series features a larger outer diameter; the 31300 and 32000 series have steeper contact angles (handling more axial load); and the 33100 and 33200 series are wide-profile bearings designed for high loads. The 30200 series occupies a middle ground, serving as the most versatile baseline series.
Selection Advice
The 30200 series is suitable for general applications characterized by predominantly radial loads, moderate axial forces, and medium operating speeds. If the axial force is high, upgrade to the 32000 or 31300 series; if the load is heavy or subject to shock, upgrade to the 32200 or 32300 series; if radial space is limited, consider the 32900 or 33000 series.
